Journey 4 is proud to announce that Jeremy Bending, a leading executive within the Utilities market sector, has joined as an Advisor to the business.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the Utilities sector, Jeremy has extensive experience within the gas and energy sectors and is an industry expert and thought leader in the areas of Asset Management and Process Safety.
Jeremy is interested in supporting executive teams of asset intensive businesses and organisations who are keen to improve their operating performance and has experience of operating both on the client and contractor side.
He brings a deep understanding of customer requirements in the Utility market sector and will work with the Journey4 Directors to support the development of the business strategy and help guide it through the next phase of its growth.
Jeremy was formerly Director at National Grid with responsibility for the UK Gas Distribution business and prior to that held several senior roles with Transco. He is the founder of Armco Solutions Ltd, established to advise companies on how to enhance their business performance through the introduction of the latest Asset and Risk Management approaches.
Jeremy holds several Non-Executive Director positions including Bristol Water, Phoenix Natural Gas and Skills2Learn (a subsidiary of Babcock). He also holds similar Advisor positions with global consultant Enzen and Glover Gas and Power. Jeremy is a Chartered Engineer, Honorary Secretary of IGEM and a graduate of Nottingham University.

Jeremy will provide advice to the Directors in all areas of the business, with a focus on the Utilities sector, both water and energy. These sectors face enormous customer engagement, effectiveness and efficiency challenges driven by the regulator, and are also considering changes to their business models in the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic.
